Parrots are one of the world’s most clever birds and are amid the few able to imitate human speech.

According to Wikipedia, studies have revealed that some parrots are even able to connect words with their meanings and form easy sentences, and their brain to body size ratio is equal to the higher primates.

Some parrots are even capable to utilize tools and resolve puzzles. Parrots utilize a distinct part of their brain for their higher intelligence than we humans do. Their cerebral cortex, which is the section of the brain we utilize for higher intelligence, is so little.

But they use a section named the medio-rostral HVC. One parrot, named Alex, was raised to recognize, count and reply questions about different objects with a high degree of precision. Another, called N’kisi, has a vocabulary of approximately a thousand words that he's capable to use in full sentences and accurate context.
